Podge is a family run business based in the heart of West Yorkshire. All of our recipes come from our family kitchen, that have been tried and tested to bring the highest quality family favourites to our stall.
Although this is now our full time job, Podge simply started as a hobby for us; we have a passion for cooking and baking – our entire family is made up of foodies! -, but we didn’t have a way to incorporate this into our day job. Over our first five years in business, we fell in love with the market lifestyle, and decided to make Podge our full time job.
Our business is not big, but it is completely family orientated, with every member of our staff a member of our family! We are proud of who we are and where we come from, so we hope this shows in our stall and our food.
We use locally sourced ingredients in our kitchen to bring you the best of Yorkshire; from the award-winning meat that goes into our sausage rolls to the high quality Belgian chocolate that goes into our brownies, we believe quality ingredients create quality products.
Our most local and regular markets are in Leeds, but we are beginning to expand, with new markets starting in Liverpool and Manchester, so there will be more places available for you to get your Podge fix!
Although we are not able to deliver, we are now starting to take private orders, so please contact us if you would like more information.
I have tried a range of products from the stall. So far not found anything I’ve disliked. My favourite product was the caramel tart. Rich but gorgeous.
I have tried a range of the food from Love Podge and have yet to be disappointed. The cherry and chocolate brownies are definitely my favourite, and I have recently tried the blueberry frangipane which comes a close second. It’s definitely worth a trip to one of the markets they visit, just for some Podge food.

Wow! Picked up a cherry cheesecake brownie from the Rhubarb Festival in Wakefield today and it has to be the most delicious thing ever! Amazingly gooey and so tasty. Cannot wait to try more of your products…they all looked so tempting! Fab value for such a portion too! x
